I need a new laptop people!The market out there is pretty overwhelming. I don't want one that is really expensive (preferably significantly under 1K), but I don't want some dainty little thing with no memory or capabilities. I plan to use it primarily for word processing, photoshop, music, etc.
Any suggestions?

of course!! dell m 1330. It has USA tech support meaning they speak english. it weighs 6 lbs and obviously that is important.
I just got myself a new Macbook and I seriously could not be happier. It's not significantly under $1000, but I've had it for a week now and I don't know how I ever used a PC.
The one I got was the basic white Macbook. No upgrades necessary if you're just using Adobe Suite and Microsoft Office primarily.
